Fluent French Speaking ECE Teacher, Preschool - K

Hiring a credentialed Fluent French-Speaking Preschool and/or Kindergarten Teacher, or a French Speaker interested in becoming credentialed

Ecole Claire Fontaine is an Art, Language & Nature School with three garden campuses for 2 - 6+ year old children founded in 1989 near the Pacific Ocean in the heart of Venice, California, serving international and local families.

ECF is seeking a dynamic Fluent French-Speaking Early Childhood Education, Preschool and/or K Teacher who promotes creativity, critical thinking, imagination, and has a true passion for working with children. Please have at least 6 ECE units and be working on earning more, or 12 ECE units or a CDA Permit. Otherwise qualified Fluent French Speakers without units, but who are interested in obtaining ECE units, may also apply.

Please be able to legally work in the U.S.

Applicants should have a nuanced understanding of childhood dynamics and development, and be able to both take direction and work independently. This is an in-person, on-campus position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Thinking creatively to problem solve on your feet while engaging with a group of active children

- Engaging students in small group classes and activities

- Sharing in efforts to keep classrooms and outdoor areas tidy as needed

- Maintaining a healthy and safe environment

- Working collaboratively and professionally with fellow faculty to promote the general well being of the school

Qualifications for Teaching Position:

- French speaking is a must as this position is for a French Teacher

- Early Childhood Education: 6, 12 ECE Units or CDA Permit, or in the process

- Enjoy children and a quick pace

- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
