About the Internship

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Python/Django Backend Developer Intern to join our team for a School Management System project. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience working on a real-world Django application.

You will collaborate with a small development team and contribute to important modules such as user registration, role-based access, student/teacher/parent management, academic features, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing Django models, APIs, and views
• Implement authentication and role-based access for multiple user types (student, teacher, parent, etc.)
• Work on database relationships, serializers, and admin customizations
• Collaborate with the Flutter frontend team for API integration
• Debug and test APIs using Postman or Thunder Client
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Python and Django
• Familiarity with Django REST Framework
• Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong willingness to learn and contribute
• Good communication and time-management skills

Good to Have

• Experience with authentication (JWT/Session-based)
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, Flutter API integration)
• Prior experience with multi-role systems or school management projects
