FMCG Techinical Officer

We are seeking a technically skilled Quality Control Officer with hands-on experience in FMCG production environments. This role goes beyond routine inspection—focusing on machinery productivity, process stability, and proactive risk identification across the production line.

The ideal candidate understands how production systems behave under pressure, and can detect, prevent, and resolve quality deviations at their source.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control product quality across all stages of filling and repackaging operations
• Conduct real-time inspections on FMCG machinery (filling, sealing, labeling systems)
• Identify process deviations, mechanical inefficiencies, and contamination risks
• Implement and maintain quality standards aligned with HACCP and food safety protocols
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and non-conformities (not just reporting them)
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize machine performance
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hazard control procedures (HACCP principles)
• Maintain detailed quality documentation and audit readiness
• Train operators on quality awareness and machine handling best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in FMCG quality control, preferably in food or packaging industries
• Strong understanding of automated and semi-automated production machinery
• Hands-on experience with filling lines, capping systems, and packaging workflows
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and GMP standards
• Ability to interpret technical data and identify patterns in production quality
• Experience in handling audits and regulatory compliance
