Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor participants throughout clinical trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols and safety standards
• Review and interpret medical records, documentation, and case histories using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and follow-up procedures in outpatient
• Perform utilization review and management activities and medical documentation review to ensure compliance
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality
• Participate in site initiation visits, protocol training sessions, and regulatory audits to uphold clinical trial integrity

Qualifications

• Licensed MD or Nurse Practitioner
• Background in managed care environments with skills in utilization review/management and clinical documentation improvement
• Familiarity with research, clinical trials
• Excellent case management abilities combined with strong communication skills to support patient care coordination across diverse healthcare settings
