Service assistants, Hosts and Bar Backs are an essential part of being the support for our servers and bartenders and are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by adhering to sanitation and safety policies and following our steps of service with the utmost professional customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clear tables of dishware throughout service and after service and return them to the kitchen
- Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware throughout service
- Keep service stations clean and well stocked
- Keep an eye on the pass for food coming up to be delivered to tables, double check tickets
- Train on the ingredients, preparation and presentation of food and cocktail menu items including information about specialty ingredients and ingredient origins as well as potential allergens and substitutions that are permitted to use when running food for servers/kitchen
- Support servers by helping clear tables or crumbing
- Help box up food for tables if needed
- Multi – task various front of house duties
- Sanitize and reset tables by properly setting linens, silverware and glassware
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation before presenting to guests
- Clean surfaces and work areas, glassware
- Host using our OpenTable Reservation System
- Answer phone calls and greet all guests with a professional presence
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Complete all opening and closing side work assigned

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
