Role Description

This is a part-time 10:45 am to 3:00 pm on-site role for a Food and Beverage Cashier located in Providence, RI. In this position, you will handle customer transactions, assist in taking and processing orders, operate the POS system payments, and manage & pack togo and online orders. You will provide friendly and efficient customer service, maintain cleanliness standards at the cashier's station, and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols. You will also assist with basic food and beverage service as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to provide a welcoming experience for guests.
• Proficient Cash Handling skills, including operating a register and managing financial transactions.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage practices to assist with customer orders and ensure quality service.
• Excellent Phone Etiquette for handling customer inquiries and takeout orders professionally.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail to handle transactions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial but not required.
