Food and Beverage Manager

The Food, Beverage & Hospitality Manager is responsible to lead and elevate Zayed Sports City's F&B and Hospitality experience. This role is responsible for enhancing the quality, consistency, and innovation of food and beverage offerings across all venues and events, while driving operational excellence and commercial performance.

This role requires a dynamic leader who is a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven record of curating premium guest experiences in large-scale hospitality or event environments.

Areas of Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an overarching F&B strategy for Zayed Sports City, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and guest expectations.
  • Continuously raise quality and service standards across cafés, concessions, catering, and hospitality suites.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance F&B infrastructure, design upgrades, and service innovations that drive guest satisfaction and commercial return.
Event & Hospitality Operations
  • Lead all F&B and hospitality operations for events, including international sports tournaments, concerts, and corporate functions.
  • Collaborate with event organisers, caterers, and vendors to deliver exceptional service and presentation at every scale.
  • Coordinate logistics, staffing, and service flow to ensure consistent quality and efficient operations.
Commercial & Contract Management
  • Manage and optimise relationships with F&B concessionaires, catering partners, and hospitality service providers.
  • Develop, negotiate, and monitor F&B contracts and performance KPIs.
  • Drive financial performance through cost control, pricing strategy, and revenue generation across outlets and events.
Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
  • Implement quality control and hygiene standards in line with UAE regulations and international best practices.
  • Lead the design and rollout of new menus, hospitality concepts, and service improvements.
  • Capture and analyse guest feedback, using insights to continually refine the F&B experience.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.
Qualification and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 8 years' progressive experience in F&B operations, including leadership roles in event venues, hotels, or large-scale catering.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, and crafting memorable guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in cost control, revenue forecasting, pricing strategies, and P&L analysis optimise profitability during events.
  • Deep knowledge of UAE food safety (HACCP), hygiene standards, health regulations, and licensing for venues and catering.
  • Experience in menu planning, beverage pairing, POS systems, and workflow optimisation for concessions, suites, and hospitality.
  • Contract and Vendor Management
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
