Food and Beverage Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic food service operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and manage a talented team of culinary and service professionals. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all aspects of food and beverage operations, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, bar service, and quick service outlets.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food presentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting.
  • Handle cash management duties accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end.
  • Train staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, food handling procedures, and operational standards.
  • Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, interviewing candidates, and conducting performance evaluations to build a cohesive team.
  • Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards related to food production and service.
  • Support kitchen management efforts by coordinating with culinary teams to ensure smooth food production workflows.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership, ongoing training & development initiatives, and team motivation strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in the food industry with a strong background in restaurant or hospitality management.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience in fast-paced environments like quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control practices along with budgeting skills for cost management.
  • Background in fine dining or hotel food service environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire team training & development while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently during shift changes or busy periods. Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
