Food and Beverage Server

We have a great Full-Time opportunity for an Experienced Professional to join our team! Flexible, OPEN schedule is required, and WEEKEND availability is a must. We are offering $15/hr + Tips$$$ (average of $10+/hr) = $25+ / hour
- Our employees are responsible for providing outstanding customer service across multiple platforms.

-Responsibilities include being able to take Cafe orders, cashier, run food, bus tables and to make our cocktail bar drinks.

- Opera House C.A.F.E. provides a variety of services, so the ability to multi-task is a must.

- Our staff is required to be available for high traffic and holiday weekends throughout the year, as well as regular events.

- Our proximity to the City Market and our positioning on a Streetcar stop necessitate quick, reliable service for as many customers as we can handle.

The ideal candidate is able to Self-Manage and work well in an employee empowered environment. You will be skilled at multi-tasking which will enable you to take orders, expedite, and bus for food service, and maintain the dinning area. *Some Bartending experience is Preferred.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic math
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with upselling and sales techniques
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of food preparation and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities

- Prior experience in bartending would be beneficial
