Hola Zero Sugar Café is a healthy dessert and café concept specializing in zero-sugar, gluten-free, low-carb, and guilt-free indulgence. We serve premium healthy desserts, specialty coffee, beverages, and café-style food in a warm, friendly, and Instagram-worthy environment.

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Server who is energetic, customer-focused, presentable, and passionate about creating a memorable café experience for every guest.

Role Summary

The Food & Beverage Server will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, explaining menu items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer service at all times. The role requires someone who is polite, attentive, fast-moving, and comfortable working in a premium café environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Present menus and explain Hola Zero Sugar Café products clearly.
• Recommend desserts, drinks, and food items based on customer preferences.
• Answer basic questions about sugar-free, gluten-free, keto, and healthy options.
• Handle customer requests politely and professionally.
• Ensure guests have a positive experience from arrival to departure.

Order Taking & Service

• Take accurate dine-in, takeaway, and delivery/pickup orders.
• Serve food, desserts, coffee, and beverages according to café standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen, barista, and cashier teams to ensure timely service.
• Check that orders are complete, well-presented, and served correctly.
• Clear tables promptly and reset them for the next guests.

Café Cleanliness & Presentation

• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, display counters, service areas, and dining space.
• Ensure cutlery, plates, napkins, and service items are stocked and arranged properly.
• Keep the café looking neat, premium, and photo-ready at all times.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards as per Dubai Municipality requirements.

Product Knowledge & Upselling

• Learn all café menu items, ingredients, allergens, and bestsellers.
• Promote new launches, seasonal products, gift boxes, cakes, and café offers.
• Upsell desserts, drinks, add-ons, and takeaway items in a natural and friendly way.
• Support customers with cake orders, celebrations, and gifting enquiries.

Billing & Support

• Support cashier/POS operations when required.
• Handle payments if assigned by the supervisor.
• Assist with packing takeaway orders and delivery handovers.
• Report customer feedback, complaints, or product issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server, waiter/waitress, café staff, or F&B attendant is preferred.
• Experience in cafés, restaurants, bakeries, dessert shops, or hospitality is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
• Presentable, polite, and customer-friendly personality.
• Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and customer service.
• Willingness to learn about healthy desserts, sugar-free products, and specialty café items.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and shift timings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with premium café or dessert service.
• Arabic speaking
• Basic POS/cashier knowledge.
• Ability to upsell politely.
• Understanding of allergens, gluten-free, keto, or healthy food concepts.
• Friendly personality with good grooming standards.
