Job Purpose:

The Stock Auditor is responsible for conducting accurate and detailed stock audits for hospitality clients, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and golf clubs. In addition to stocktaking, the Stock Auditor may be required to perform other types of audits and advisory services, such as Food Safety and Guest Service Experience audits, and other services released by Abbey 5 Star to assist clients in optimising their operations and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct on-site stocktakes for liquor, food, and other inventory items at client premises.

· Perform additional audit services such as Food Safety and Guest Service Experience audits, as well as any other advisory services introduced by Abbey 5 Star.

· Provide on-the-job training for new joiners and Trainee Stock Auditors, ensuring they understand procedures and audit practices.

· Supervise the work of Trainee Stock Auditors to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.

· Verify stock audit reports prior to issue, as requested by the Operations Manager, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Prepare and present detailed audit reports, highlighting key findings and providing actionable recommendations.

· Identify areas for improvement in stock management, food safety, and guest services, providing tailored solutions for each client.

· Work closely with the client’s management team to explain audit results and discuss opportunities for improvement across various areas.

· Ensure compliance with company standards, hospitality regulations, and food safety requirements.

· Assist in fraud and loss prevention by identifying discrepancies and waste in stock and operations.

· Provide same-day reporting and hold exit meetings with clients to discuss audit outcomes.

· Maintain high levels of accuracy and professionalism during all client interactions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

· Accuracy of stock and other audit reports.

· Timeliness of report submissions.

· Quality of supervision and training provided to Trainee Stock Auditors.

· Client satisfaction and feedback.

· Contribution to fraud and loss prevention.

· Identification of cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Prior experience within the hospitality sector- preferably in Kitchen or Bar Roles, Preferable.

· Prior experience in stock auditing/ Stock Management is a plus

· Knowledge of food safety standards and guest service experience audits is a plus.

· Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills for client interactions and reporting.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Proficient in using auditing software and tools.

· Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, food safety, and guest service regulations.

Work Environment:

· On-site at various client locations across the UAE, primarily in hospitality venues.

· Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,300.00 per month
