The Sonnenalp Hotel is a premier, family-owned luxury hotel known for personalized service and alpine charm, and we are seeking a Full-Time Seasonal F&B Support team member who brings energy, teamwork, and attention to detail to every shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in supporting seamless dining experiences while upholding the high standards of the Sonnenalp Food & Beverage Team.
Wage: $12.14 /hour, plus tips
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set restaurant for business: responsible for all assigned opening, closing and weekly side work duties
- Clear and reset dining room tables
- Assist Servers run food
- Assist Host/Hostess with greeting and seating guests
- Assist Servers and Bartenders with food and beverage service to guests, keeping water/drinks full and pre-setting tables
- Stock service stations with all necessary items needed for the night
- Polish glassware, silverware, and flatware
- Adhere to LHW standards at all times
- Participate in related F&B training/seminar program such as MDP classes and wine training
- Act as a responsible, personable representative of the Sonnenalp team.
Experience
- Basic knowledge of fine dining table set up helpful
- Personable disposition which is maintained in pressure situations required
Special Skills/Equipment
- Strong organizational skills required
Essential Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift - up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, ability to multi task
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels
