We’re opening a brand-new Residence Inn in Wilmington, Delaware, designed to deliver an elevated extended-stay experience. In addition to our modern accommodations, the property will feature a vibrant, guest-focused beer garden, creating a unique social hub for both travelers and the local community.
The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s F&B operations, including breakfast service, evening offerings, and the signature beer garden. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a pre-opening environment, enjoys building teams, and has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Lead the pre-opening setup of all F&B operations, including menu development, vendor selection, and operational procedures
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing F&B team
- Manage daily operations for:
- Complimentary breakfast service
- Evening social hours
- Full-service outdoor beer garden
- Curate and maintain a compelling beer, wine, and light fare program
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards aligned with brand expectations
- Oversee inventory, cost control, and budgeting to meet financial goals
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with hotel leadership on events, promotions, and community engagement
- 3+ years of Food & Beverage leadership experience (hotel experience preferred)
- Pre-opening experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of beer programs, craft selections, and outdoor service concepts
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Solid financial acumen (P&L, cost controls, forecasting)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
