Job Purpose:

The Food Designer is responsible for creating and enhancing the visual presentation of food and beverages within the hotel, ensuring an exceptional dining experience that reflects the hotel’s brand standards and elevates guest satisfaction through innovative and artistic food styling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop creative food plating concepts aligned with luxury hotel standards.
• Collaborate closely with Executive Chefs to finalize the visual presentation of dishes before service or photography.
• Innovate new food presentation ideas that enhance guest experience and improve overall satisfaction scores.
• Oversee buffet setups and ensure visually appealing and well-organized food displays.
• Ensure consistency in color balance, texture, and visual composition of all dishes.
• Contribute to menu design from a visual and presentation perspective.
• Support marketing and sales teams in food styling for photography, promotions, and campaigns.
• Stay updated with global food styling trends and implement relevant concepts within the hotel.
• Ensure all food presentation practices comply with hygiene and food safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants (2–5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of food plating and food styling techniques.
• Artistic sense with strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
• Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food components.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and marketing teams.
