Duties

• Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to expedite food orders promptly while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet presentation and safety standards, adhering to food handling and safety protocols.
• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, manage seating arrangements, and assist with reservations to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with team members to prioritize orders, address special requests, and resolve any service issues swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting stations for incoming guests.
• Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes to enhance presentation.
• Uphold hospitality standards by providing attentive service that emphasizes positive guest interactions and satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential to ensure health standards are met.
• Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and deliver excellent customer service.
• Background in hospitality or hotel services can provide a solid foundation for creating welcoming guest experiences.
