Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and menu standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, process transactions efficiently, and provide excellent customer service at the point of sale.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area, adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed during preparation, serving, and storage to promote safety and hygiene.
• Support catering or special event setups as needed, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about menu items, and promote positive dining experiences.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or similar setting.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
