Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for events and daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Help with inventory management by reporting low stock levels of kitchen supplies.
• Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, catering, or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and culinary techniques is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
