Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items, beverages, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent service to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are met at all times.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee industry best practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures in a café or food service environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when needed.
