Shift: Full time, daylight, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Food Production Worker Responsibilities:

· Participate in the production line and requires placing and or removing items on a moving belt, ensuring the quality of each piece and packing the covered pieces in boxes to be used in other parts of the plant or repackaged for sale

· Other duties include ensuring personal and work area cleanliness and keeping supplies stored according to quality rules and regulations. Minimum record-keeping and reporting may also be required

· Visually inspect the products for quality and size specifications, and test products or packaging before shipping

· Bagging products for distribution, attaching labels, and packaging finished products for shipment or storage.

· Perform routine housekeeping and other cleaning and sanitation tasks as assigned by the Line Supervisor

· Follow all safety procedures and guidelines as directed by management

· It requires working in a team atmosphere and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Must be willing to work occasional seasonal overtime

· Perform other duties as directed by the Line Supervisor

Food Production Worker Qualifications:

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as well as standing/walking for extended periods

· Production experience preferred but not required as on-the-job training is provided

· Standing for an entire shift

· Bending, turning, and reaching

Compensation:

· $ 16 per hour

This position is not eligible for benefits unless accumulated hours threshold is surpassed per the Employee handbook
