Food Quality Controller -Male

A food Quality Controller (QC) ensures food products meet safety, sanitation and consistency standards from raw materials to finished goods. Key responsibilities include inspection (e. g., pH, temperature, weight), enforcing HACCP plans, maintaining documentation for regulatory compliance, and taking corrective action to prevent defects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection & Monitoring: Perform routine, hands-on checks on raw materials, in-process products, and final goods to ensure compliance with quality, flavor, and texture specifications.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and local regulations (e.g., Municipality standards in Doha).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records, lab reports, and inspection logs for traceability and auditing purposes.
  • Corrective Action: Identify, document, and report defects, and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrences.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and verify measuring instruments (scales, thermometers, pH meters) to ensure accuracy.
  • Hygiene & Sanitation: Monitor, manage, and verify cleaning, pest control, and staff hygiene practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Typically a degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000), quality tools, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., GCC standards).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with laboratory testing, sampling techniques, and data analysis.
  • Communication: Ability to train staff and communicate quality issues across department
