Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu offerings
• Relay orders accurately from servers to kitchen staff, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
• Serve as a Food Runner by delivering dishes efficiently and with attention to presentation and guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of host/guest areas, including waiting stations and dining spaces
• Assist with guest inquiries over the phone using proper phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservations
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders and payments
• Experience in restaurant operations or hotel guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Ability to stand, walk, and move swiftly for extended periods while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming environments for diverse guests
• Knowledge of serving techniques, restaurant etiquette, and guest relations best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
