Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations to optimize seating flow
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu items
• Retrieve and deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Assist with clearing tables, bussing, and resetting for new guests to maintain cleanliness and readiness
• Support the kitchen team with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing transactions
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed
• Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is advantageous
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties as required
