Food Runner/Busser hiring ASAP

Job Title: Busser / Runner / Barback (Combo Position)

About the Role:

We are a high-volume, busy restaurant and bar looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Busser / Runner / Barback to join our team full-time. This combo role is essential to keeping operations smooth during our fast-paced nights. You’ll support both the front-of-house service team and the bar by maintaining cleanliness, running food, and assisting with bar operations. This is a tipped position with competitive hourly pay plus tips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bussing Tables: Quickly and efficiently clear, wipe down, and reset tables to ensure fast turnover and a clean dining experience.
• Running Food: Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables accurately and promptly.
• Janitorial & Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant and bar areas, including floors, restrooms, and high-traffic zones.
• Barback Support: Assist bartenders by stocking supplies, washing glassware, and keeping the bar area organized and clean.
• Changing Beer Kegs: Safely change and replace beer kegs as needed (physical work required).
• General Assistance: Help with any additional tasks to support smooth service during busy shifts.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in English (strong verbal communication skills required for team and guest interaction).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a big plus.
• Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly (including kegs and supplies) and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Availability: Must be available for night shifts (evenings and closing shifts). Full-time availability preferred, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not required — we value a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Other: Reliable transportation, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
