Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring optimal table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Serve as the bridge between the kitchen and dining area by delivering food promptly and accurately
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
• Clear tables, bussing dishes swiftly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
• Support banquet or special event service by coordinating food delivery and guest needs
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions
• Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with food handling, serving, and basic food preparation techniques
• Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Background in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality enhances your suitability for this role
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in a guest-facing position
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and kitchen operations is beneficial
• Prior experience with bussing, cooking, or culinary activities can be a plus for understanding the flow of restaurant service
