Duties

- Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring optimal table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Serve as the bridge between the kitchen and dining area by delivering food promptly and accurately
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Clear tables, bussing dishes swiftly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
- Support banquet or special event service by coordinating food delivery and guest needs
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions
- Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food handling, serving, and basic food preparation techniques
- Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Background in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality enhances your suitability for this role
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in a guest-facing position
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and kitchen operations is beneficial
- Prior experience with bussing, cooking, or culinary activities can be a plus for understanding the flow of restaurant service
