Food Runner/Server

The Cozy Taberna is looking for a professional Runner/Server to grow our FOH team. Seeking a motivated, personable individual who is comfortable interacting with guests, as you will be working in an open kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and able to take direction well. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and customer service.

Duties:

- We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and dedicated Server to join our team at The Cozy Taberna. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by ensuring guests receive prompt, attentive service, and high-quality food and beverages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Provide guests with menus and offer recommendations when needed.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure guests' needs are met and that they are satisfied with their meals and service.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's menu, specials, and ingredients.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and policies.

Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic culinary knowledge and familiarity with different types of cuisine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or plates as needed

Hourly Rate: Base $15.05/hr plus tips

Pay: $15.05 per hour
