Food Safety Officer

Responsibilities
  1. Inspect employees for cleanliness and health problems and conduct daily/weekly food safety, health & safety inspections. Conducts weekly inspection of kitchen, dishroom, potwashing room, storerooms, storage facilities, dining rooms, employee rest rooms and garbage disposal to ensure cleaning standards are met.
  2. Monitors and checks cleaning procedure execution, proper storage of cleaning chemicals and implements.
  3. Orient new and incoming employees on specific task; cleaning procedures, use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
  4. Shall conduct Safety Meeting every week to communicate and listen operational safety challenges, current non-conformities, STOP card results, lesson learnings and plans of QHSE implementation with corrective actions.
  5. Shall conduct daily Toolbox Talks as part of employee awareness on QHSE.
  6. Maintain coordination of Process and Quality monitoring forms in accordance with HACCP principles and practices.
  7. Conduct emergency mock drills.
  8. Liaises with all Site Supervisors and key personnel on operational and quality functions in each section in operation.
  9. Ensure the timely and thorough investigation of all complaints allocated.
  10. Shall investigate near miss / incidents / accidents and identify root cause and accordingly establish corrective and preventive actions.
