Food Safety Officer

The main purpose of the job is to ensure that food products are safe for consumption by

the public. This involves monitoring and enforcing food safety regulations and standards,

conducting inspections of food establishments, and investigating complaints related to food

safety.

Conducting regular inspections of food establishments to ensure

that they are following proper food safety protocols and

procedures.

• Educating food establishment operators and workers on proper

food safety practices and procedures.

• Monitoring all employees in the workplace and ensuring that they

maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.

• Investigating complaints related to food safety, such as reports of

foodborne illnesses or food contamination.

• Identifying any potential food safety hazards and putting control

measures in place to prevent them.

• Maintain standards of the highest quality and compliance with HSE

requirements.

• Enforcing food safety regulations and standards by issuing

citations, fines, or other penalties to non-compliant

establishments.

Ascertain areas of concern and report to Operations Supervisor to

resolve these as effectively as possible.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,200.00 per month
