Food Server

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient order entry and processing
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions accurately
• Prior experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food industry roles preferred but not required
