Food Server

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, a passion for the food and beverage industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service while ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using OpenTable or other reservation systems.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to provide a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Server is required.
• ServeSafe Alcohol Certification required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Experience in fine dining establishments is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
