Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering processes, including cash handling and basic math calculations

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment within the food industry

Pay: $22.10 - $26.62 per hour
