Food Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our establishment, whether it be in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or casual restaurant atmosphere.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Support host/host functions as needed, managing guest relations effectively during peak times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, including roles such as server, busser, or host/host.
• Culinary experience is a plus, with knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and relations.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
