Food Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing orders, and ensuring that the front of house operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the customer experience through effective upselling techniques.
• Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing retail math skills as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
• Assist in training new team members on front of house procedures and best practices.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred.
• Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Proficiency in retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
