Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and accurate order processing
• Experience in food preparation, bussing, or kitchen support is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
