Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas according to sanitation standards
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Responsible for server-side tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in host/hostess roles or food industry positions is advantageous
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required
