Food Server

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure safety standards are upheld
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting environment
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced setting, including host/hostess duties, to provide seamless guest services from arrival to departure

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues, is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and tip calculations
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required

Pay: From $2.50 per hour
