Food Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes their orders, and ensures an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Spoton or Toast
• Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure guest relations are positive at all times
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with basic food preparation when needed

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Spoton or Toast
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for order calculations and billing accuracy
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; hospitality background highly valued
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
