Overview
This position provides guests with an exceptional dining experience by delivering attentive service, accurate order-taking, and a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking, and a commitment to hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and promptly: Create a positive first impression and establish rapport.
- Present menus and explain specials: Offer recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders: Enter orders into the POS system with precision.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently: Ensure correct items reach the right guests in a timely manner.
- Check in with guests throughout the meal: Anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly.
- Process payments and handle cash responsibly: Manage transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas: Support a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff: Communicate clearly to ensure smooth service flow.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines: Uphold all regulatory and company standards.
