Responsible for preparation of items and maintaining the temperature of the items.

Responsible for seasoning and garnishing food.

Responsible for preparing all soups and sauces.

Responsible for keeping the cooking area clean and in an orderly state.

Maintaining inventory and ordering food items on a daily basis.

Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.

Responsible for operating cash register to cash out guests.

Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurant.

Responsible for assisting with bussing and cleaning tables.

Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.

Responsible for stocking retail items and work stations.

Skills to Help You Succeed

Ability to use a cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, restaurant bar equipment, and other various kitchen equipment and appliances.

Knowledge of Mixology. Knowledgeable of ABC laws and health regulations

Ability to read and follow basic instructions.

Ability to use a telephone.

Ability to hear and speak clearly.

Knowledge of alcohol awareness.

Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.

Knowledge of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Ability to be creative with cooking and food preparation.

Ability to read and interpret production lists, menus, and simple instructions.

Ability to complete accurate record keeping.

Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Must have excellent communication skills.

One (1) year cashier experience preferred.
-
One (1) year restaurant experience preferred.

Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid non-gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.

Must be RAMP certified
Must-Haves

A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements

Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about with a true sense of urgency.

Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.

Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying food products, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to lift, carry, deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
-
Ability to work around 500-degree ovens and work within 40-degree walk-in refrigerators. Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10-hr. shift.
