Food Service Team Member/Ice Cream scooper

At Lottie's, we pride ourselves on spinning awesome small-batch, handmade ice cream from scratch, and have been voted the best ice cream in the East Bay. Since our establishment in 2013, we have been inspired to be the highlight of our customers' day. Now, we're looking for a diverse group of self-motivated, hardworking, kind, and energetic individuals to join our team and help us continue to achieve our goals.

As a team member, you'll play a crucial role in building our brand and taking care of each other and our guests. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, who can thrive in a high-volume environment. You should be comfortable performing physically challenging tasks, lifting, pushing, or handling heavyweights up to 50 lb, and be available for a minimum of 4 days per week, including am/pm, weekends, and holidays. We prefer long-term commitments and encourage local college students to apply.

To join our team, you must have a current Food Handler's card (or be willing to get certified), respect safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Serve ice cream and other menu items while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Maintain cleanliness in the service area and assist with bussing tables as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and support food preparation when required.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $24.00 per hour
