Job Overview
We are currently hiring a Truck Operator / Service Supervisor to join our growing team.
This is a versatile, hands-on leadership role combining driving, operational oversight, food preparation, and guest service. You will be responsible for safely operating our mobile food unit, supervising daily service flow, preparing menu items, processing transactions, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced event environment.

Responsibilities
- Drive food truck to and from scheduled events (local Pittsburgh area)
- Set up and break down truck operations before and after service
- Supervise and maintain smooth service flow during events
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards
- Serve guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle POS transactions (cash & card) accurately using Square POS
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization at all times
- Work efficiently in high-volume festival and event environments
- Represent the brand with professionalism at all events
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must live within the Pittsburgh area
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must consent to background check and drug testing
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and special events required)
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service (quick-service or fast-paced environments preferred)
- Familiarity with Square POS system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively between driving, food prep, and service supervision
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Restaurant, café, coffee shop, ice cream shop, or food truck experience is highly desirable
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in food service, coffee service, or ice cream service is strongly preferred
- Experience working in high-volume environments or food trucks is a major advantage
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred (If you do not currently have ServSafe certification, we will help you obtain it.)
