Church Street Cheesesteaks and Kona Beachside Food Trucks are hiring!

Everyone on the truck is tipped and we serve high volume, fast paced events so they add up quickly! Base pay ranges based on experience but you will be guaranteed a minimum of $22/hr after tips. $25-$32/hr is common and up to $45/hr after tips is not unheard of!

We are looking for hard working individuals who can work well in a fast paced environment. We have a great time! We go to awesome local events such as the Ben and Jerry's Concert Series, food truck festivals, and Vermont FC Games. During these events you can catch us playing some good music, hollering back and forth to each other while we bust through the line and serve our happy customers!

There may also be other opportunities available to those interested on our other food truck, our Church St Cart, and our restaurant/bar on North Beach

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items with precision, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Operate our POS system
• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders and interacting with customers
• Cook on the flattop grill and the fryer
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and serving areas.
• Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving in a quick service or fast food environment.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a related role is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is preferred.
• Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Kitchen or culinary experience from restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, or retail food environments is beneficial. • Clean driving record and knowing how to back up a trailer is a plus
