Duties

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm, managing reservations and walk-in seating efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials
• Take and relay guest orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Assist food runners by delivering dishes promptly and ensuring presentation standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand, dining area, and service stations to uphold hygiene standards
• Handle guest inquiries courteously over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest services enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods in a busy environment
• Demonstrated hospitality skills including friendliness, patience, and professionalism
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be advantageous but is not mandatory

Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour
