The Football Coach will support the delivery of the AC Milan Football Academy program at SportPlex, working under the direction of the Head Coach to provide high-quality training aligned with AC Milan's official methodology, values, and player development philosophy.

This role focuses on coaching excellence, player engagement, and creating a professional, positive learning environment for young athletes.

Job Accountabilities

• Deliver structured and engaging training sessions in line with the AC Milan Academy curriculum
• Coach players across assigned age groups and ability levels, ensuring individualized development
• Support players' technical, tactical, physical, and psychological growth
• Demonstrate and teach skills using modern football coaching best practices
• Assist the Head Coach with session planning, scheduling, and on-field organization
• Support player assessments, feedback, and development tracking
• Prepare teams for matches, festivals, tournaments, and academy events
• Ensure all training sessions meet safety, safeguarding, and welfare standards
• Monitor player wellbeing and promptly report concerns to the Head Coach
• Maintain discipline and enforce academy rules and codes of conduct
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and academy staff
• Assist with setup, use, and breakdown of training equipment
• Represent SportPlex and AC Milan values professionally on and off the field
• Strong football coaching and player development capabilities
• Knowledge of modern football training methodologies
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and teamwork

Experience

• Playing background or formal coaching experience
• Experience working within structured academy or football programs preferred
