Footwear Design Traineeship

About the Traineeship Program

We are seeking a Footwear Design Trainee who is passionate about innovation, materials, and style in footwear. This is an unpaid traineeship program (6-8 Weeks) that offers hands-on exposure to the footwear design and development process from concept sketches to prototypes. You will work with our design and R&D teams to explore sustainable materials, create modern silhouettes, and learn the essentials of footwear construction for a fashion-forward e-commerce brand.

**Only students or recent graduates pursuing/completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Product Design/ Fashion Design / Footwear Design and or relevant fields may apply. Selection will be based on interview performance. Candidates must be available for full-time (Remote) traineeship. (Add Portfolio Link in Resume)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in concept development, sketches, and mood boards for new footwear collections.
• Research global footwear trends, consumer preferences, and innovative materials.
• Support in creating technical drawings, design specifications, and CADs.
• Collaborate with the sampling team on prototype development and testing.
• Explore eco-friendly, natural, and recycled materials for sustainable footwear lines.
• Help in fit trials, durability checks, and wear testing feedback.
• Maintain design archives, material swatches, and inspiration boards.

Requirements

• Student or fresher in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Industrial/Product Design, or related fields.
• Strong sketching and visualization skills.
• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, or CorelDRAW is a plus.
• Passion for footwear, fashion, and material innovation.
• Detail-oriented with creative problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced startup environment.
