Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products.
- Lead and develop a team of employees through effective training and development programs.
- Conduct employee orientation, interviews, and recruitment processes to build a strong team.
- Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Implement effective sales strategies to achieve store targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance and utilize retail math to analyze trends and make informed decisions.
- Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of store presentation and staff engagement.
- Manage shift schedules, supervise staff during shifts, and handle any operational issues that arise.
- Collaborate with marketing efforts to promote store events and drive traffic.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships.
- Proficient in employee orientation, interviewing techniques, recruiting, and training & development.
- Experience in payroll management, bookkeeping, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and store management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff in a retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems and administrative experience in a retail setting is essential.
- Ability to attend meetings with vendors, review future products, give input on buying strategy and keep open lines of communication with sales representatives.

Pay: $52,290.77 - $62,973.82 per year
