Forecasting / Demand Planning Analyst - USA Company - Office Based (Night Timing)

Job Summary
Chai Vision is seeking a Forecasting / Demand Planning Analyst to ensure that inventory and purchasing decisions are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with business growth. This role plays a critical part in our mission by delivering accurate forecasts, enabling transparency in decision-making, and ensuring optimal product availability across all channels. You will bridge strategy and execution—building models, analyzing trends, and collaborating with teams to create seamless inventory and purchasing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1-Strategic Leadership

• Develop forecasting models using historical and multi-channel sales data.
• Translate demand signals into actionable purchase plans that align inventory with growth strategies.

2-Execution & Optimization

• Gather and analyze sales, stock, and PO data to maintain pipeline visibility.
• Build and maintain buy plans, identifying understocked and overstocked items.
• Manage warehouse stock transfers, including cost and timing evaluations.

3-Cross-Team Collaboration

• Partner with brand managers to finalize demand forecasts and procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with logistics to evaluate shipment routes, costs, and delivery timing.

4-Tool & Platform Ownership

• Use Sellercloud and Excel/Google Sheets to forecast demand, track inventory, and manage reporting.
• Organize, clean, and analyze large datasets to support decision-making.

5-Oversight vs. Execution

• Oversight: Provide demand forecasts, approve buy plans, and summarize transfer recommendations.
• Execution: Conduct data analysis, prepare PO visibility reports, and build decision sheets.

6-Strategy vs. Execution Split

• Strategy: Forecast modeling, buy plan design, and demand planning approach.
• Execution: Data collection, PO tracking, spreadsheet management, and shipment comparisons.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related supply chain roles.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly across teams.
• Advanced expertise in data handling and analysis using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with inventory management and planning systems (Sellercloud experience a plus).
• Proven ability to balance analytical rigor with practical execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs170,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
