Foreign Medical Graduate IMG

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foreign Medical Graduate (IMG) to join our medical staff. We also welcome IMGs in their gap year while they await interviews or match results. We're seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills and a foundational understanding of medical concepts

Duties

• Take and document vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration, SpO₂, weight, height).
• Obtain and document chief complaints and history of present illness (HPI).
• Assist with physical exams and minor office procedures (e.g., EKGs, wound care, injections).
• Administer vaccines and medications (under supervision or per protocol).
• Perform phlebotomy or assist with lab specimen collection and handling.
• Conduct urinalysis, rapid strep, flu, pregnancy, glucose, or COVID testing.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness between patients.
• Help with patient education, including medication instructions and lifestyle counseling.
• Following up on lab results, imaging, or referral reports.
• Assisting with chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension logs).
• Coordinating preventive screenings (mammograms, colon cancer, immunizations).

Experience

• Prior experience or clinical rotations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology knowledge is essential.
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Medical Doctor degree (required)
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
• Other language: Spanish (preferred)
