Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Alexandria, Egypt for a Foreign Purchasing Manager. The role involves managing the procurement of materials and components from international suppliers while ensuring the optimization of cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with the engineering and production teams to understand and meet material requirements.

Qualifications

- Expertise in Foreign Procurement, Vendor Management, and Contract Negotiation for at least five years.

- Good knowledge of customs clearance and international shipping procedures.

- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and foreign exchange processes.

- Proficiency in Market Research, Supply Chain Planning, and Cost Optimization.

- Fluency in English (Four Skills); additional language skills are an advantage.

- Experience working with equipment or machinery components is a plus.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proficiency in using ERP systems and procurement software is a must.
