Foreman

Position: Foreman – Fit-out / Small Construction

Languages: Hindi & English (mandatory)
Computer Skills: Basic to Intermediate

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities for fit-out and small construction works (civil, gypsum, carpentry, painting, MEP coordination).
• Manage and guide site workers, subcontractors, and helpers to ensure work is carried out as per drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer / Site Engineer for work planning, sequencing, and daily targets.
• Read and understand basic shop drawings, layouts, and method statements.
• Ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with project standards.
• Monitor material usage and report material requirements to avoid shortages or delays.
• Maintain daily site reports, manpower attendance, and progress updates (basic computer usage required).
• Ensure site safety rules are followed and report any safety concerns or incidents.
• Communicate clearly with workers in Hindi and with management/clients in English.
• Coordinate inspections, snag rectifications, and handover activities.
• Report site issues, delays, or variations promptly to management.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness at the site.

Requirements / Skills

• Minimum experience as a Foreman in fit-out or small construction projects.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out works (gypsum, ceiling, partition, flooring, carpentry, painting, basic MEP coordination).
• Computer literate (WhatsApp, email, basic Excel and Word, or daily reporting).
• Ability to manage manpower and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks on site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
