Summary / Objective
The Foreman is responsible for leading crews, coordinating daily operations, maintaining a safety-first culture, and managing efficient, high-quality project execution. The role ensures deadlines are met and all issues are communicated with Division Management. Work performed must exceed company and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with internal teams regarding crew dynamics, schedules, project needs, safety concerns, and fleet maintenance.
- Enforce company policies, including progressive discipline policies.
- Maintain safety at all times, including driving safety, ensuring all crew members follow policies.
- Operate within federal guidelines for Class A & B drivers.
- Ensure job site housekeeping is maintained, including all equipment on site.
- Maintain a clear driver’s license (no tickets, violations, or accidents).
- Complete daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time.
- Organize job sites and direct work crews to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage and resolve workplace conflicts, promoting a productive team environment.
- Train and cross-train employees to strengthen operational capability.
Position Requirements
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to prepare and submit accurate paperwork on time.
- Expert knowledge of proper equipment operation and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 90%.
Work Schedule
Full-time, on-site position. Standard hours vary based on customer needs and job site requirements. Additional hours may be required, including nights or weekends.
